The Carapace Audiam Mask focuses on hearing. It envisions an expansion of the occipital lobe of the brain, altering its relationship with the ear and auditory perception, suggesting a new state of hyperconnectivity.
The geometric patterns that define the design of the Carapace Masks are inspired by the microstructures of the exoskeletons of insects and crustaceans. Biodigitally generated through algorithmic simulations, they differentiates the articulation of the objects by varying and modulating their structure, permeability and structural behaviour.
